Rector debat KU Leuven
Broadkastr livestreamed the KU Leuven rector election debate with live subtitles and sign language interpretation for on-site and remote audiences.
The Studentenraad KU Leuven needed full production support for one of the university's biggest moments: the debate between candidates for the new rector. The event had to work equally well for the audience in the room and for people watching remotely, and it had to be accessible for everyone.
- Livestream setup for the full debate, reaching remote viewers in real time.
- On-site technical support for the audience present in the room.
- Live subtitling so the debate could be followed by everyone, including non-native speakers.
- Sign language interpretation, integrated into the stream for deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers.
The result was a smooth, accessible broadcast of a key university event. Both the in-room audience and remote viewers got a clear, well-supported experience, and the debate reached a wider group of students and staff than a standard livestream would have.
